I make horror games

Terms of Service

Last updated: October 24, 2026

Welcome to LOUREZ GAMES. By using lourez.com ("the site") you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. What this site is for

The site showcases original games made in Scratch by Lourez, so anyone can play them for free in a web browser. Registered users can also like games, post comments, collect Loonix and use them on avatar items.

2. Your account

  • You must be 13 or older to create an account, and give your real date of birth when you sign up (see the Privacy Policy). Accounts made by children under 13 are deleted.
  • Give a real email address and keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
  • One account per person. Don't create accounts to collect extra Loonix.
  • Pick a username that isn't offensive and doesn't pretend to be someone else.

3. Account Security and Communication

  • By creating an account, you agree to receive essential service emails, such as email confirmation links and password reset instructions.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. Don't share it with anyone.
  • You must give a valid email address and keep it up to date. We are not responsible for problems getting into your account if your email address is out of date.

4. Rules you must follow

You must not:

  • Copy games, artwork, sounds or code from the site and publish them as your own, or re-upload them to other websites;
  • Crack, modify or hack the games or the site, including tampering with Loonix, likes, view counts or other site data;
  • Attack the site — for example with bots, spam, scraping, denial-of-service attacks, trying to get around the login check, or probing for security holes;
  • Post comments that are hateful, harassing, threatening, sexual, or that share anyone's personal information;
  • Break any law while using the site.

5. Intellectual property

All games on the site, including their code, art, characters, music and sounds, and the design of the site itself, belong to Lourez unless stated otherwise. You may play them for personal, non-commercial fun. Nothing in these terms gives you ownership of, or a licence to reuse, any of this content. See the Copyright Notice for details.

You keep ownership of comments you post, but you allow the site to display them. We may remove any comment at any time.

6. Loonix and avatar items

Loonix are a free, just-for-fun points system. They have no real-world money value, cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for money, and can only be used on this site. We may change prices, items or rewards, or reset balances (for example, to fix a bug or remove Loonix gained by breaking these rules).

7. User-Generated Content and Advertising

The Community board lets players pay 100 Loonix to show a Scratch game for 3 days with a picture, a title and a description (an "ad"). By posting an ad you agree to these rules:

  • Only your own games. You may only advertise Scratch games that you created yourself. Don't link to games made by other people, and don't use pictures, characters, logos or other material that you don't own or don't have permission to use.
  • Content rules. Ads must not contain anything illegal, sexual or explicit, violent or gory beyond what's normal for a horror game, hateful, harassing or bullying, or anyone's personal information (such as a real name, face, school or address). No spam, scams, or repeated posts of the same thing.
  • No false advertising. Your title, description and picture must honestly describe the game you link to. Don't pretend to be someone else, or claim a game is something it isn't.
  • Moderation. I reserve the right to remove any ad at any time, for any reason — including if it breaks these rules or is reported by other players — without a refund of the 100 Loonix. Breaking these rules can also get your account suspended or deleted (see section 10).
  • Licence. You keep ownership of what you upload. By posting an ad, you give me a free, non-exclusive licence to store, resize and display your picture and text on the site for as long as the ad is shown (3 days, or less if it's removed).
  • Scratch. Lourez Games is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Scratch or the Scratch Foundation. All rights in games shown on the Community board and the Review Winners list belong to their respective creators. Links open Scratch's own website, which has its own rules.

Shop items made by players. The same rules apply to items uploaded to the shop by players with the UCG role: only upload items you made yourself. Uploading costs 250 Loonix and you can upload up to 10 items a month. When someone buys your item, you receive the full price in Loonix. I can delete any item that breaks these rules at any time; the upload fee and the Loonix that buyers spent are not given back, and the item is removed from everyone who owns it.

If you think an ad copies your work, please see the DMCA / Copyright Policy. You can also use the "Report this Ad" link under any ad.

8. Donations

You can support Lourez Games with a donation on PayPal (see the Support page).

  • All donations are completely voluntary. Nobody has to donate to use the site.
  • Donations are non-refundable. Refunds or disputes for payments are handled by PayPal under its own terms.
  • Donating does not give you any special privileges, ad-free access, extra Loonix, items, roles, or any ownership of or rights to the website or its games and content.
  • The only thing a donation can give you is the visual 💝 Supporter badge on your account. Breaking these terms can still get your account banned, and the badge can be removed.
  • If you're under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before donating.

9. Disclaimer

The site and its games are provided "as is", without any warranty. Games may contain bugs, may be changed or removed, and the site may sometimes be unavailable. Some games are horror games and contain jump scares and scary content — play at your own discretion.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Lourez is not responsible for any loss or damage that results from using the site or playing its games, including lost progress or data, device problems, or anything that happens while you are playing.

10. Account termination

I have the right to suspend or delete any account that breaks these terms, and to remove its comments, likes, Loonix and items, with or without warning. You can stop using the site at any time and ask for your account to be deleted (see the Privacy Policy).

11. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time; the date at the top will change when they are. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
